The National Bureau of Investigation-National Capital Region (NBI-NCR) has arrested a man in Paranaque City for the sexual abuse of his three daughters.
On March 6, 2025, the daughters filed a complaint with the NBI-NCR, alleging their father had repeatedly raped them since 2022. They stated he threatened them to remain silent. Initially, their mother dismissed their claims and supported their father.
On March 10, 2025, their brother provided a statement confirming he received threatening text messages from their father after they reported the abuse to the NBI-NCR. These messages included death threats if they continued to report the incidents.
Due to these threats, NBI-NCR agents conducted an operation in Baclaran, Paranaque City, on March 11, 2025. The suspect resisted arrest, leading to a physical altercation before he was subdued and apprehended. He was then informed of his rights.
The suspect was taken to the NBI-NCR office in Manila for processing and will face charges under the Anti-Rape Law and the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
