Senator Tulfo on Pardon of 143 Filipinos in UAE

Chairperson Raffy Tulfo expressed deep gratitude after receiving news from President Bongbong Marcos Jr. regarding the pardon of 143 Filipinos in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The announcement brought relief not only to the families of those pardoned but also to the entire country.

“I am sincerely thankful to President Marcos for his tireless and successful efforts in engaging with the UAE, especially with President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed,” said Tulfo. He attributed the achievement to President Marcos’ leadership and the collaboration with agencies like the Department of Migrant Workers and the Department of Foreign Affairs.

Tulfo also extended his appreciation to Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed for granting a new opportunity to the pardoned individuals, saying, “I hope this further strengthens the cooperation and ties between the UAE and the Philippines.”#
